My PC

I have three computers: a Power Mac, a PC, and a notebook. The Power Mac is very fast and performs well because it has two CPUs. The PC, however, is very slow — it has been four years and nine months since I bought it. Over time I added new hardware to it, including a DVD-RW drive, a 1394 port, and a USB 2.0 port. These additions have been enough for my needs, except for the CPU speed, which has always been a bottleneck — especially after I installed Windows XP.

Even so, I don't plan to upgrade the PC because I already bought the Power Mac G5. But whenever I browse the web, Internet Explorer is still mandatory for certain Korean sites that require transactions, so I have no choice but to turn the PC on.

I'll keep using the Mac and the PC side by side for a while.
