Teach yourself Mozilla in 5 days

Posted on Jan 13, 2008

The Mozilla project and Seneca College have worked together on Mozilla-related research and development, and they offer several courses on Mozilla and open source.

The results are posted on the project wiki, where you can find various projects and technical reports created by students. In particular, there is a course called "Real World Mozilla" that guides students through developing on the Mozilla platform — from building to testing Firefox. It is helpful for anyone interested in Mozilla development, because it is documented well on the wiki.

In Korea, Daum and Jeju National University created an open source course together. I think that if more organizations build and share results from open source projects like this, it will help foster open source culture and movements in Korea.
